Day 28: Sukathai

We left early morning at 5 and the bus took about 9 hours to ge us to Sukathai, Northern Thailand. From there, we took a big taxi with 9 people inside. We got close to the old town as the main point of interest is Sukathai Historical Park.

At 3 we decided to walk to the main attraction: and walked among the ruins and the scenery was fascinating.  Being able to see all these beautiful buddhas and temples glistening in the sunset, I felt I was at peace with myself. Not because of the Cambodians, but just finding my inner peace within my soul. I was relaxed and felt like I could stop and stay there forever.

In the evening, we went for dinner with a Belgian girl whom we met on the bus. Her name was Doris. We had good talks and good laughs.

Tomorrow we will visit the National Park.
