Day 1- Texas Road Trip

After an exhausting 10 hour trip from London, we finally arrived at the G.W. Bush international airport. 🙏🏻✈️ Once there, we were required to head through customs. Passing through customs and getting our luggage was very fast and efficient. After that, we took the shuttle to a car rental establishment called Alamo Rent-a-Car. I decided to rent a Nissan SUV for 10 day, costing me a total of 500$, which was in fact a very good price for America.🚙👍🏻

The car was big, easy to drive, comfortable, and had all the newest technological bells and whistles. I decided to buy myself an American sim card and was able to use my phone and access the internet everywhere, which really came in handy when driving around. I cannot imagine where I would have ended up if I did not have access to internet and a GPS.

Thanks to booking.com, I found a room at the Marriott Hotel for a very reasonable price which included a full continental breakfast. It was well-deserved after such a long flight!! 😅The next day, we made our way over to Houston before making the 3 hour Drive to San Antonio. 😁😁
